Rare IMAX Screening Appearance
Rajinikanth Jailer 2 success celebrations also featured a rare public appearance by the Superstar at an IMAX screening with fans. Marking what was reportedly his first public appearance of this kind in 40 years, the visit allowed audiences to see the actor outside a traditional promotional event. Sun Pictures shared a video documenting the star’s arrival at the venue, where director Nelson welcomed him. Jailer 2 marks the first film starring Rajinikanth to receive a wide IMAX release, adding a new milestone to the theatrical presentation of his projects. The combination of the box office milestone and the fan screening gave the occasion a personal touch.
