Mirnaa Recalls Working With Childhood Crush Hrithik Roshan in Jailer 2

Mirnaa Recalls Working With Childhood Crush Hrithik Roshan in Jailer 2 as she opened up about a special opportunity to share screen space with the Bollywood star. The actor, returning as a familiar face in the Rajinikanth-starrer sequel to the 2023 blockbuster, took to social media on Friday to post a behind-the-scenes photograph with him. She expressed her excitement over finally working alongside a hero she has admired for years, describing the feeling as surreal.

Behind the Scenes and Deleted Sequences

Interestingly, the behind-the-scenes picture featured a combination sequence involving Mirnaa and Hrithik that does not appear in the theatrical version of the film. Hrithik’s role in the sequel is largely built around a high-impact cameo featuring action sequences rather than extensive dialogue. Despite limited screen time, his presence became a major talking point. Mirnaa highlighted the personal significance of the collaboration, praising his humility and warmth off camera, noting that getting to know the person behind the superstar made the experience even more beautiful and multiplied her respect for him.

Reunions and Box Office Milestones

The project also marks a reunion between Hrithik and Rajinikanth after Bhagwaan Dada in 1986, where Hrithik previously appeared as a child actor alongside the Tamil superstar. While Hrithik maintained a low profile on social media regarding his appearance, his cameo generated significant buzz and speculation during production. Meanwhile, the action-comedy has seen massive commercial success, crossing Rs 600 crores worldwide by its eighth day at the box office, adding another layer of milestone achievements to the Rajinikanth-led project.
