During a promo for Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, Amitabh Bachchan questioned Sai Pallavi about entering the film industry despite training to be a doctor. The actress credited her journey to destiny, stating that God likely meant for her to pursue acting. Ranbir Kapoor then offered a playful spin on her background.

Using a medical joke, Ranbir quipped that God wrote a prescription stating she had to act. His quick remark earned applause and cheers from the studio audience. Sai Pallavi completed her medical studies at Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia before building her career in cinema, gaining fame through the Malayalam movie Premam and working extensively in South Indian cinema.

The upcoming special features Sai Pallavi discussing her role as Sita in Ramayana. She appears on the show alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Ravie Dubey.

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Ravie Dubey will appear on the quiz show on October 29 and 30 to promote the mythological project. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie stars Ranbir as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The first instalment hits theatres on November 5, 2026.
